They can be made out of heavy wall 2x4 tubing real easy I like that because not all the weight is on the cutting edge of the bucket. They use a chain around the bucket & then boomer the chain to the hole on them at the front of the bucket. Look into getting a standard quick attach plate for your loader so you can use any universal skid steer bucket, fork or other attachment. Since then I bought a bigger skid steer and a set of quick attach forks. Plus, pick up anything heavy puts allot of stress on the loakder because the load is soo far away from teh loader / tractor. I was using them to move brush with my Backhoe, they worked great until I bent them both like pretzels. They work OK, but the biggest problem is you cannot see where they are at in relation to where you want them to be. I made my own set last year for just that purpose. Either way you go you can't imagine all the stuff you will use them for. It is nice to have them on or off in a matter of seconds. Several different configurations (seed, bulk chem, pro boxes, bulk bean bags ) all seem to need the forks set a little different, I guess I'm lazy and these move real easy but the clamp on ones might as well. I looked at those before I bought the quick attach type and glad I went that way. Posted 17:08 (#982008) Subject: Clamp-on pallet forks for loaderĪnybody got any experience with the clamp on pallet forks for loaders? I have a Koyker 510 loader with 96" bucket and bolt on wear edge. ( logon | register )Ĭlamp-on pallet forks for loader Jump to page : 1 Now viewing page 1
